Our physicians are laparoscopic pioneers and we currently specialize in the minimally invasive treatment of Urologic malignancies, which include prostate, kidney, bladder, adrenal and testicular cancers. Dominion Urological Consultants perfected the daVinci Robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy in Northern Virginia. In addition to prostate cancer surgery we also use the daVinci Robot to perform surgeries on the bladder (cystectomy) and the kidney (radical and partial nephrectomy and pyeloplasty). Our group performs the majority of all laparoscopic urologic procedures in Northern Virginia. Our results match or exceed local and nation expectations for excellence in all areas of treatment and outcomes for these procedures.

Dominion Urological Consultants were the first in the Washington DC area to perform the following procedures laparoscopically: nephrectomy, pelvic lymph node dissection, removal of a residual mass after testicular cancer and radical cystoprostatectomy with a continent urinary diversion.
